Dr Rebecca Jesson

Dr Rebecca Jesson is a joint Principal Investigator for the project, along with Dr Aaron Wilson. They are the academic leads on the project and are responsible for designing and implementing the research and development strand. Rebecca is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Auckland and the Associate Director of Te Pūtahi Whakatairanga Hapori Ako Angitu Woolf Fisher Research Centre. Dr Aaron Wilson

Dr Aaron Wilson is a joint Principal Investigator for the project, along with Dr Rebecca Jesson. Aaron is Associate Dean (Research) for the Faculty of Education and Social Work, a senior literacy lecturer in the School of Curriculum and Pedagogy, and an Associate Director of Te Pūtahi Whakatairanga Hapori Ako Angitu Woolf Fisher Research Centre. Selena Meiklejohn-Whiu

Selena is the Lead Facilitator on the project working alongside its principal investigators, research fellows, research partners and participants.  She works across all the clusters on gathering and sensemaking student achievement and classroom observation data. Dr Yu Liu

Dr Yu Liu is a data analyst for the project alongside Kenichi Furushima. She works across all the clusters on cleaning data, database management, data analysis, and producing reports. She is also interested in developing an online analysis system for the project. To read more about Yu Liu’s research, see her University of Auckland profile.

Kenichi Furushima

Kenichi Furushima is a data analyst on the project and works with Dr Yu Liu to build and maintain the project database, analyse data, and produce reports. Ken has experience in predictive modelling and machine learning in education as well as other fields. He is currently teaching a short course that provides an introduction to data science.

Naomi Rosedale

Naomi Rosedale is a Research Fellow on the project. She works with Rebecca and Aaron in the implementation and dissemination of research with a focus on the T-Shaped Literacy strand of professional practice development. Naomi also works with the facilitation team in the collection and sensemaking of student achievement and classroom observation data. Serene Shengnan Wang

Dr Serene Shengnan Wang is a research fellow on the project. Collaborate with other team members, She assists the collection of student achievement and school voice data and conducts classroom observations. Serene also works with the facilitation team and the statisticians in making sense of the project data and disseminating research findings. She is leading the Mapping Effective Digital Pedagogies Project. See Serene’s University of Auckland profile.

Allen Wu 

Dr Allen Di Wu is a Research Fellow on the project. He works across all the clusters on gathering and sensemaking student achievement, classroom observation and school voice data. He recently finished his PhD at The University of Auckland. See Allen’s University of Auckland profile. 

Sandi Tsai

Sandi Tsai is a research assistant on the project, and works with the development facilitators to update and maintain the website.
